I just finished this book by Mark Haddon and really enjoyed it.
The author teaches creative writing for the Arvon Foundation and has written and illustrated many award winning children’s books and television screen-plays.
He also worked with autistic individuals and writes this book from an autistic boys point of view.
It was a delightful story told from a unique perspective.
I read this book several years ago and loved it. It is especially good for anyone who is associated with an autistic child. I lent it to some of my grandson’s teachers when he was
at a special school. He has progressed such a long way. He’s 13 now and so much the
“teenager” with all his electronic games and technologies.
I haven’t read this yet but I have heard it is a very informative read.
