If you love to watch The Big Bang Theory and you find the character Sheldon amusing you will enjoy this read.
I laughed out loud many times.
It’s a quirky love story about a middle aged man who has Aspergers syndrome and decides he would like to find a wife.
He makes out a questionnaire to help him eliminate the women he would have nothing in common with.
It turns out that the woman who fails the test -Rosie, is the one who he ends up falling in love with.
It does make light of the fact that individuals with autistic related disorders have trouble with intimate relationships.
Many people do not even realize they are on the autistic scale.
Usually though, if they consult a professional the signs are quite obvious.
It makes it very hard for them to feel empathy and connect with others.
The character Don eventually works on his social skills and although he may not feel love like you or I he is able to offer his best to Rosie.
There is a few surprises I don’t want to give away but read the ending very carefully.
This book is being made into a movie and the author is writing a sequel right now!
I read this over the weekend and it was delightful : )
