I am telling my son about a very sick girl while I stitch her this little mouse.
( I named her Petunia The Prayer Mouse)
I tell him the many treatments they have tried are not working.
She is still sick.
I tell him next week they will put her in a helicopter and fly her to another hospital where she will receive an experimental treatment.
I tell him I hope it works.
I hope with all my heart.
I tell him this little mouse will perhaps keep her company on the helicopter ride.
She can only take a few things.
I tell him I have to hurry and ship the mouse.
He asks me if people get sick in Heaven.
I tell him no.
Everyone is healthy.
He is very quiet for a moment.
Then he tells me that if this next treatment doesn’t work then he thinks God wants the little girl to come home to him.
I found this pattern on Etsy.
There is also a boy mouse that can be made.
