Yep, folks…Just three ingredients for a homemade solution you can use on your mirrors, counters and floors!
The original recipe is from my Aunt Andrea.
I have been wanting to switch to a homemade cleaner for quite a while.
They have a lot of recipes online but I found that each one could only be used for something specific.
I wanted an easy all purpose cleaner.
I switched to method a year ago when I got a terrible headache every time I cleaned.
Method products are wonderful but as much as I have to clean (or should) it was starting to put a dent in my budget.
I used an empty gallon of vinegar
You will add:
1 cup rubbing alcohol
1 cup Dawn
1 cup ammonia (non sudsy)
Then you add water until the gallon is full.
I had an empty spray bottle (method) and am using it with my homemade solution.
I’m so excited to finally be making this change in the way I clean my house.
I also finally talked my kids into a refillable water bottle .
They each have one to take to school or the gym. I am no longer buying plastic water bottles which I love!
We also have reusable plastic containers for lunch and use very little if any plastic bags.
I would love to have another green goal…any ideas?
