Easy Quiche Lorraine – made in a blender.
Get out of here right?
This has my name written all over it.
By now you have figured out that the only thing I want to take a long time doing is eating!
You can whip this up and then savor every bite.
My son uses this recipe as a base and then you can add whatever you want.
I like tomatoes and basil.
He likes bacon everything.
Typical guy right?
You will need these ingredients to make this quiche:
6 ounces of grated swiss cheese
8 slices of crisp bacon, crumpled
pastry for 1-crust 9- inch pie, unbaked
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
dash of cayenne
1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard
Now the fun part.
Sprinkle the cheese and bacon into the pastry-lined pie pan.
Put the remaining ingredients in the blender and blend.
Then just pour it over the cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes or until firm and brown in a moderate oven (375 degrees).
I tossed a salad to go with it and had a delicious dinner.
Even Mr. Picky ate it!
So give this Easy quiche lorraine recipe a try.
You won’t be sorry.
