This was a very easy project to throw together and the kids seemed to enjoy it.
I had the children tear little pieces of construction paper.
To make it easier I had a larger square of each color at everyones place.
You need scissors to cut the cross out and glue sticks for the construction paper scraps.
Then the kids colored the cross, cut it out and glued it on top of the paper scraps.
I bought the brightly colored construction paper and really like how colorful these turned out.
While we were making these, Father Frank came in and told us a very cute story about his nephew.
The little boy said ” Dad do you know what color God is ?” His father replied “No.”
The boy said “God is grey. You know …God is grey…God is good…Thank- you for our food. Amen”
What a cute story.
