I try to get a game plan or at least start thinking of one before Cason is out of school.
Like most kids the right balance between planned activities and down time really prevents behavior problems.
After speaking with his teacher we really need to work everyday on sight words and building sentences.
Swimming everyday is something he really enjoys and he usually takes swim lessons to work on his strokes.
I set some goals for us to work on this summer…
Riding a bike without training wheels, learning to tie his shoes and working on controlling his temper.
Cason has ADHD and he has to work hard on controlling himself verbally and physically.
He has come a long way since Pre-K but it is still affecting his interactions with his friends individually.
In a group he has learned to play very well.
We like to play outside in the early evenings with our neighborhood friends.
Cason loves to share popsicles with his friends.
I make sure our freezer is well stocked.
What do you and your family like to do over the summer?
