Most of the supplies came from the dollar tree.
The rest I found around the house.
I bought this skeleton garland.
Then I cut the skeletons apart.
Grab a jar.
Spray the lid.
I always wear a glove with the hand I’m spraying with so my finger doesn’t get paint on it.
Put a little moss in the jar and then a skeleton.
Our neighborhood has this moss hanging from the trees all along the main road.
Now that I think about it- it’s a little creepy.
I folded black paper and traced half a bat on the seam and then cut three out.
They need to be little to fit in the jar.
Then I made a hole with a needle and put a piece of fishing string through the hole in the middle.
I just used a little scotch tape to hold the end of the string to the rim of the jar.
You won’t see it after the lid is on.
Then use a velcro square (which I also use to hang pictures ) and put one on the inside lid and one on the bottom of the tea light.
You want to be able to take it on and off.
The switch is on this side for the light.
Here it is at night.
Frightening don’t you think?
I also made one with a glittery spider for fun.
When witches go riding,
and black cats are seen,
the moon laughs and whispers,
’tis near Halloween.
