I’ve finally tricked my son into eating vegetables every day.
I tried everything.
I tried muffins, cookies and cakes with vegetables.
He could always figure it out.
There was like a Tablespoon of vegetables in them- which isn’t really that great.
I grew up in the era of force your children to eat vegetables.
But I was tenacious and wouldn’t.
Supper was war for us.
It also did nothing to make me like vegetables.
As an adult I eat many but still not the lima beans that made me throw up at the table as a kid.
So… I’m getting my son to eat a handful or two of fresh spinach leaves and many fruits everyday !!!
Yah, for this Sneaky Spinach Smoothie.
It took me a while to find a recipe to trick the kid but here it is…
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup of strawberries
1 or 2 handfuls of fresh spinach leaves
and you can add a little yogurt if you please.
Blend in a mixer until you can’t see the spinach leaves anymore.
I love this recipe too!
